Client Agreement for Enhancement Procedure

Please read, print out, complete, and sign this form and send it to us with your diamond.

Likelihood of improvement: Our Clarity Enhancement process optically hides fractures and fissures of polished diamonds improving their clarity. Approximately 75-80% of all fractures open to the surface of a diamond can be clarity enhanced by our treatment. If a diamond is laser drilled and the remaining fracture is visible to the naked eye there is a possibility that the imperfection will improve substantially through the clarity enhancement process, although the laser-drilled line will remain visible.

Risk of damage during treatment: Diamonds with large fractures and silicate inclusions may, although very seldom, break during the clarity enhancement process. We are not responsible for any damage to the diamond.

Durability of the enhancement, and care: As recommended for treated gemstones, when retipping a prong the enhanced diamond should be removed from the setting. As for cleaning procedures, it is recommended not to expose the enhanced diamond to on acid or lye solution. Regular jewelry cleaning detergent (when used under the instructions), ultrasonic cleaning, steam cleaning, as well as exposing the stone to ultraviolet rays will not damage the stone. If for any reason the enhancement is damaged, we guaranty re-enhancement of the stone free of charge.

Disclosure when selling clarity enhanced diamonds: When offering our enhanced diamonds for sale they must be disclosed by using the term “Clarity Enhanced Diamonds.”

The client has read and understood the information printed above and agrees to abide by the rules set forth in the above agreement.
